06.21.05 Game Report vs The Retreat

There's not much to report this week other than a thorough ass-kicking the Gators received from The Retreat, a new team in the ESL Tuesday league. 10-0 was your final score.

The Retreat dressed 8 skaters for the game and it proved to be enough against a Gator squad with a full bench.

ESL once again assigned referee's from their bargain bin who called the game like they had somewhere to be afterwards. There must have been about 5 icing calls in the first period they blatantly waived off for no apparent reason.

Just a bad game all around against a team that probably belongs playing Monday nights. Lots of room for improvement next week.

To my teammates,

I just want to apologize for my game play last night. I know, even if I had an outstanding game, we still would have lost. But for those who know me and know my abilities, I have not played up-to-par lately. And for this, I apologize. In the future, I will focus more and show everyone that I still have my "A" game.
