After a fairly evenly-shot game against Miano's Insurance, the Gators were handed their second loss of the season, with a final score of 4-3. Neither team managed to score during the entire first period, but quickly made up for that early on in the second period. Jim Suplicki (19) scored the first goal of the night less than one minute into the second period, assisted by defensemen Chris Ryan (27) and Alé Mendoza (4). Soon after, however, Miano's men scored once, and then again, taking the lead for the majority of the period. With under five minutes in the second period, Mark Kretschmann (7) scored the second goal with help from his line, and minutes later, Brian Pasono (17) followed with the Gators third and final goal of the night. Gators led 3-2 going into the last period.

Miano's players had a solid offense, and rapid, consecutive shots on Gator goalie Jerry Suplikci (35). They came back to score twice more before the end of the night, taking the game from the Gators at 4-3.
